He isn't quite sure how he got himself into this position.
Not the White House staff one -- that he'd worked for, envisioned, had had a vision of; the latter came with the territory.
What's not entirely clear to him, however, is how he came to be -- seeing? Dating? Reforming and, respectively, being reformed? two women he'd like to but cannot, as his boss might put it, know in the Biblical sense...at least not if he wants -- which he does -- to encounter respect in the eyes of those he sees every day.
Including the man in the mirror.
